This is the continuing story of our special needs son Luke. My daughter has taken it upon herself to continue sharing the stories of Luke. Our hope is to inspire those who are going through similar situations. You aren't alone! You can read the original blog here: http://specialkids-mom.blogspot.com/
Now I hand you over to our daughter. Who has a love for her brother with special needs, that is beyond measure.
Hi, I know it’s been a while or about twelve years to be exact. And a LOT of things have changed, for one you’ve probably noticed the title change also that this doesn’t sound like the author from before. Well you would be right this isn’t the same person from before. That was my mom. Hi, I’m Luke’s sister. It’s kinda weird that I don’t even remember half the things that are on this blog. But anyway I saw this blog and I wanted to continue it since well it hasn’t been updated in such a long time. I want to continue to share Luke’s story and all the fun moments with him. I’ll start from where this left off to catch up to the present. It’ll take a while and most of the posts will be like that for a bit. We’ll put a pin in that for a second. My mom would have loved to continue this blog, but life happens. She got a new teaching job and didn’t have time to write it anymore. Luke has also taken a bigger priority over a lot of things as he has grown, including this blog. One last thing I want to share is that Luke is fine and is doing great. He actually has a diagnosis for what he has now. It’s called Galloway-Mowatt which basically causes Luke to have major brain abnormalities (which is why he still can’t say more than a few words) and it also affects his kidneys to the point his kidneys could shut down. But Luke is still as happy as ever and living his best life!!!!!!
